I watched the original Pink Panther movie for the first time in ages today, I’d forgotten how much I love it! Not only the plots, but the costumes, the sets and the score are all so beautiful! There’s a certain effortless chic quality that goes somewhat against the grain of Clouseau’s slapistick comedy, a decadence and bourgeois sentiment that’s rarely present in modern film.
